TUNIS (TAP) - Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali extended a congratulatory message to Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Secretary-General Abdessalem Jrad, on the holding of the Union's Congress. The Prime Minister commended the UGTT's vanguard nationalist and trade union role, its effective contribution to achieve the objectives of the Revolution for freedom and dignity and its keenness to place the nation's higher interest above any consideration.

He expressed conviction that the Union will spare no effort to contribute to meet the challenges and provide appropriate conditions to materialise the national community's aspirations for progress and prosperity.
