Prof. Jean Gran-Aymerich: "Some Etruscan pieces found at archaeological sites of Carthage will soon be exhibited at Bardo National Museum"

carthage archTUNIS (TAP) - "By the late 19th century, archaeological excavations revealed the presence of Etruscan pieces in Carthage.

Some of these Etruscan findings are exceptional and will shortly be displayed as part of the new collection of the National Museum of Bardo" announced to TAP news agency Professor Jean Gran-Aymerich, Research Director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research in Paris.

Confirming his visit next February 5-12 to Tunisia, Prof. Gran-Aymerich, former project manager at the Louvre Museum, said he will participate next February 9 at the Institute for Research on Contemporary Maghreb in the proceedings of  a study day on "Archaeology and Tourism in the Mediterranean: the 19th and 20th Centuries."
