More than 18 injured in tribal clashes in Fériana delegation (Kasserine)

kasserineKASSERINE (TAP) - Tribal clashes broke out, Monday, between "Ouled Tlil" and "Zeâba" tribes in the "Haweche" area of Feriana delegation, governorate of Kasserine.  These clashes caused more than 18 casualties including one seriously wounded, according to the Kasserine regional hospital.  Eyewitnesses said that these clashes broke out when a group of youth of one of the clans seized a car carrying electronic equipment smuggled from Algeria.

Production stops in Winstar oil and gas fields in Tataouine

Violent clashes between tradesmen, border patrol near Ras Jedir

Siliana, Béjà, Jendouba and Le Kef to be connected to natural gas network in 2013-2016

100512stegTUNIS (TAP) - "The connection of the governorates of Siliana, Béjà, Jendouba and Le Kef to the natural gas network will be achieved in the period spanning from 2013 to 2016 from the region of Kasserine which hosts one of the country's chief mains, " Industry Minister Mohamed Amine Chakhari said Thursday on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Tunisia's Electricity and Gas Company (STEG).
