TUNIS (TAP)- Mrs. Maria Luisa Fornara, UNICEF Representative in Tunisia, stressed the willingness of the UN organisation to support the interim Government's efforts in educational equity for all Tunisian children and mobilise all efforts to boost programmes designed to promote pre-school education, generalise the preparatory level, establish child-friendly schools and reinforce schools integrating disabled children.

During a meeting she held on Thursday in Tunis with Education Minister Abdellatif Abid, the UNICEF official also said the UN organisation grants utmost importance to the fight against early school drop-out and mobilises all means to help the Tunisian government in this area.

An invitation was extended to the UNICEF to take part in the Partnership Day with the civil society to be held by the Ministry next March 19 as well as the national conference on school system scheduled for the end of the same month.
