Bodies of Kamel Gadhgadhi and Alaeddine Najahi were among the terrorists killed in a police raid in Tunis suburb of Raoued (Ariana), preliminary investigation unveiled.
Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Tunis Court of First Instance Sofien Selliti told TAP.
The fingerprints of Gadhgadhi match with those of one of the bodies, while the identity of Najahi was confirmed by finding his national identity card at the scene of the raid, the same source said.
A terrorist arrested Friday January 31, 2014, identified as being Mahjoub Ferchichi, revealed the place of the terrorist group in Raoued, Selliti asserted. The members of this group refused, Monday, to surrender despite the hours of negotiations.
The exchanges of fire between the National Guard Units and the terrorists resulted in the martyrdom of a National Guard member while seven terrorists were killed. Kamel Gadhgadhi was involved in the assassination of Chokri Belaid, on February 6, 2013. He has been wanted since then, as well as Alaeddine Najahi.
