Tunisian Cultural Days in Geneva, June 17-21

(TAP) - The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) is hosting the Tunisian Cultural Days at its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, June 17-21.

Considered the first of its kind organised in the headquarters of this UN Organisation, the Tunisian cultural week aims to promote Tunisia’s cultural, artistic and civilisational heritage and foster co-operation and Tunisian presence within WIPO.

The program of this event includes an exhibition of plastic art and calligraphy, as well as a conference on the know-how of potters of Sejnane, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

These days will also be an opportunity to present the latest publications of the Heritage Development and Cultural Promotion Agency (Amvppc), promotional spots about the various Tunisian archaeological and cultural sites and a musical show.

The WIPO is a specialised agency of the United Nations. Its official mission is to stimulate creativity and economic development through the promotion of an international intellectual property system.
