Brahim Letaief awarded insignia of Chevalier of Arts and Letters of French Republic

(TAP) – Director of the 27th edition of the Carthage Film Festival (JCC) Brahim Ltaief was awarded, on Sunday during a ceremony in the residence of France in Marsa, the insignia of Chevalier of Arts and Letters of the French Republic.

In the presence of several Tunisian and foreign personalities from the world of film present in Tunisia during the fiftieth edition of the JCC, Ambassador of France in Tunisia, Olivier Poivre d'Arvor said "this is the man of culture, organizer, the film lover, the actor of the JCC that we wanted to commend today "noting that" this symbolic recognition reflects the attachment of France to culture and encouragement of artists beyond its borders.”

Ltaief had spent ten years in France where he studied communication science and actively participated in the startup of Canal + Horizon, before investing completely in audiovisual broadcasting by signing several films including "Affreux Cupide et Stupide” ( 2013), "Cinecitta" and "Lazhar" (2008), "Demain je brûle " (1998), "Visa", a short film that won the Golden Tanit of the 2004 JCC.

After four years of absence, he returns with a new comedy drama film "Deux mariages et une révolution."
