Industry Minister urges entrepreneurship and partnership to meet challenges of industry 4.0

(TAP) - Tunisia, which is known for its potential and its internationally-recognised expertise, seeks to encourage entrepreneurship and partnership to fully embrace industry 4.0, Minsiter of Industry and SMEs Slim Feriani said on Wednesday.

He was speaking at a visit with a German delegation to the training centre of talents and competencies in industry 4.0. in Sousse Technopark, which hosts several companies specialising in industry 4.0.

The minister learnt about the activities of companies run by Tunisian expertise as part of partnership with the German Fraunhover Institute which operates for a number of national and international companies.  

Feriani reviewed with a group of investors the opportunities made available in terms of service exports, namely apps. He also spoke of the advantages and catalysts offered to investors so as to facilitate their work and improve their status on foreign markets.

He called on entrepreneurs to draw on the experience of the German company in terms of providing services to Tunisian enterprises which seek to shift to Industry 4.0.
