(TAP) – The Tunisian-Hungarian Business Meetings, initially due on June 24 in Budapest, Hungary, will take place on the scheduled date but by videoconference, because of the COVID-19 health crisis, said the Export Promotion Centre CEPEX.

CEPEX coordinated with the Hungarian embassy in Tunis so that these meetings take place virtually.

The targeted sectors were identified in accordance with the balance of the exportable supply available and the immediate needs for importing goods into Hungary.

They are essentially those of agricultural and agro-food products, automotive components, electrical and electronic industries, agricultural biotechnology, water management, medical devices and pharmaceutical industries and textiles and clothing.

Companies working in those sectors, which are interested in establishing business contacts with Hungarian importers, were asked to pre-register by Thursday May 28 at the latest.

The profiles of the pre-registered companies will be sent to Hungarian prospects that will have to select their Tunisian counterparts.

The selected companies will be informed of their participation and the planning of their meetings.
