(TAP) - Two contracts on funding programmes under the project Women and Acceleration for Startups and VSEs (FAST) were signed Wednesday between the "Caisse des dépôts et consignations" (CDC) and "Yunus Social Business Tunisia" (Impact Partner) and "Actia Engineering Services".

These two programmes, selected under the third and final call for projects "FAST", aim to strengthen links between startups / SMEs and mid-sized companies and large companies, the CDC said Thursday.

They also seek to encourage large groups to become more involved in supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem by collaborating with startups, VSEs and SMEs, while acting in favor of innovation.

Nejia Gharbi, CDC's General Manager said these programmes are important for startups, as they offer them the opportunity to enter the market. For large groups, they allow a transfer of technology and a sharing of expertise and therefore engancing the company's image.

Financed by the French Development Agency (AFD) and implemented by the CDC, with the technical assistance of Expertise France (AFD Group), the FAST project aims to contribute to the consolidation and sustainability of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tunisia.
