(TAP) - President of the Destourian Free Party (PDL) Abir Moussi said on Monday that her party has internationalised a series of cases of human rights violations in Tunisia.

Speaking at a press conference in Tunis to present her party's programme, particularly in the fields of security and defence, Moussi explained that cases will be lodged with international authorities against the "illegal practice" of the Truth and Dignity Commission (IVD) that had failed to open and investigate the crimes and violations perpetrated by the "Muslim Brotherhood in Tunisia section", in allusion to the Ennahdha movement.

She added that the cases had been lodged with the Sub-Committee on Human Rights of the European Parliament and would soon be submitted to the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights and the Human Rights Council in Geneva.

The PDL president said that her party will continue its actions at the national level through the organisation, in the coming days, of a protest against the non-establishment of the Constitutional Court as well as attempts to postpone the next elections.
