(TAP) - The Tunisian League for Human Rights (French: LTDH) said in a statement Thursday it supported the protest by members of the defence lawyers committee of martyrs Chokri Belaid and Mohamed Brahmi in the premises of the Court of First Instance of Tunis 1.

The defence committee calls to refer the case of the so-called "secret apparatus" of Ennahdha to the investigating judge, because of its threat to national security, social peace and the civil nature of the State.

LTDH expressed its support for the lawyers' efforts to disclose details about Ennahdha's secret apparatus, denouncing pressure to lift the sit-in of lawyers in the Court.

"The slow pace of handling the case is ‘unjustified’, especially since details of the case were made public on October 2, 2018," reads the League's statement.
