(TAP) - The Public Prosecutor's Office at the Judicial Economic and Financial Division decided to extend the custody’s duration of TV owner Sami Fehri together with the insolvency administrator of “Cactus Prod” and the company manager.

Their custody was extended to five more days starting Sunday November 10, Spokesperson for the Division Sofiene Selliti told TAP on Monday.

The Public Prosecutor had ordered, on November 5, to take Sami Fehri and his associates into custody for 5 days. They were arrested on charges of corruption as they signed contracts that do not respect the regulations in force.

Last October 29, the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Judicial Economic and Financial Division issued a travel ban against the company’s insolvency administrator, TV owner Sami Fehri and his wife.

The decision was made after an investigation that followed a complaint filed by the State Litigation Department, Sofiene Selliti had said in an earlier statement.
