HPR to hold plenary sessions December 8, 9 and 10

(TAP) – The House of People’s Representatives (HPR) bureau, on Friday, decided to hold plenary sessions on December 8, 9 and 10.

The sessions will be devoted to the creation of a committee of inquiry on the tragedy of Amdoun (Beja), as well as to the examination of the draft budget law and the 2020 finance bill.

The HPR bureau also examined the report of the provisional special committee on the 2020 economic balance project and the draft budget plan and state budget 2020.

The committee of inquiry for the Amdoun accident will be tasked with determining the responsibilities in this tragedy.

The request for the creation of this committee was presented by a group of MPs.

The HPR bureau also scheduled a dialogue session on the circumstances of the tragedy in the presence of Ministers of the Interior, Public Works, Transport, Health and Tourism.

The bureau considered the recommendations of the meeting with the northwest MPs, and the recommendations of the meeting of the parliamentary bloc leaders to hold a dialogue session with the ministers concerned.

The bureau also reviewed the schedule of the draft budget law and the state budget for the year 2020. It was also decided that the bureau remains in a state of permanent meeting.
