(TAP) - "The absolute majority of members of Nidaa Tounes Movement will vote for the national unity government," member of the House of People's Representatives (HPR), representing the movement Hatem Ferjani said Tuesday.

At his meeting with a delegation of the party, Prime Minister-designate Youssef Chahed reacted positively to the reservations of the delegation members about the composition of his government, he told TAP.

According to Ferjani, the head of the parliamentary group of Nidaa Tounes and many members are currently working to reconcile views within the bloc to reach a common position, likely to vote confidence in the government of Youssef Chahed.

"The Nidaa Tounes Movement will announce its final position about the government of Youssef Chahed in the coming hours," he said.

Head of the parliamentary group of Nidaa Tounes, Sofiene Toubel said the final position of the party will be announced at the end of talks on the reservations about the composition of the cabinet of Youssef Chahed.

Youssef Chahed, who has reacted positively to concerns raised by the party’s delegation, promised to consider all the points put forward by the delegation and to consider certain proposals made, he earlier told TAP.
