(TAP) - Ambassador of France in Tunis, Olivier Poivre d'Arvor said, on Monday, that "three agendas" will be discussed during the visit of Prime Minister Youssef Chahed to Paris November 9-10.

Youssef Chahed's meeting with his French counterpart Manuel Valls will focus on three areas: the economic agenda, the political agenda and the educational agenda, he said.

According to Poivre d'Arvor, "the French Government is very determined to accompany the economic reforms and attract investors in Tunisia, particularly through tourism."

"It is important that French tourists return to Tunisia. It is also important for the Tunisian economy, now that security has resumed thanks to the efforts of the new government, "said Poivre d'Arvor in a statement to TAP.

On the political level, the meeting of Youssef Chahed with Manuel Valls will be an opportunity to examine the development of Tunisian-French relations. He added that Youssef Chahed will be received on November 10 by President François Hollande.

The education field is very important, stressed Poivre d'Arvor. "The issue of the French language will be later discussed at a meeting between the two Prime Ministers," he said.

"It is important for us and for the Francophonie that the French language be in addition to Arabic, a tool of promotion for Tunisia and for the entire Francophone Africa," he said.

Prime Minister Youssef Chahed will pay an official visit to Paris on November 9-10 during which he will meet his French counterpart and will be received by President François Hollande.
