(TAP) - President of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) Shafik Sarsar announced on Monday that the municipal elections will be held on December 17, 2017.

Speaking at a press conference at the ISIE headquarter, Sarsar said that the process of the special delegations' dissolution should be finished off on April 19.

The security and military officers will vote on December 10, 2017, the ISIE president specified.

The results will be proclaimed on December 19-20, 2017, and the final results may be extended to January.
