(TAP) – Four smugglers were arrested and goods amounting to 500 thousand Tunisian dinars were seized by military units deployed in the country’s southeast border buffer zone as part of the anti-smuggling fight.

Eight cars, five trucks used for smuggling, 33 air conditioners, 9,000 liters of fuel, 48,000 cigarette packets, 12 kg of hookah tobacco, 4,320 fireworks and 300 sheep were seized, a Defence Ministry press statement Monday reads.
