(TAP) – Two individuals were arrested Tuesday at the Ettadhamen district, Ariana governorate, for their involvement in the recruitment of young people to fight in hotbeds of tension. According to a statement released by the Ministry of Interior Wednesday, the two suspects confessed to having recruited several young people to send them fighting in hotbeds of tension for a sum of money. After consultation with the Public Prosecutor's office, the two individuals were placed in police custody and prosecuted for "suspicion of belonging to a terrorist organisation abroad and setting up a youth recruitment network to fight in hotbeds of tension. |
