Ways to strengthen Tunisian-Indian co-operation discussed as Jhinaoui meets Pise

(TAP) – Ways to foster Tunisian-Indian co-operation relations and the review of the next bilateral meetings were under focus at a working meeting held Tuesday by Minister of Foreign Affairs Khemaies Jhinaoui and Indian ambassador in Tunis Prashant Pise.

Khemaies Jhinaoui stressed "the solidity of the relations of co-operation and partnership between the two friendly countries", reaffirming the concern of Tunisia to strengthen them and to prospect new fields of bilateral and multilateral co-operation in view of the promising opportunities offered, said a statement from the Foreign Affairs Department.

For his part, the Ambassador of India emphasised his country’s readiness to raise the level of bilateral co-operation and to adjust its mechanisms according to Tunisian priorities.

He pointed to the existence of significant opportunities for partnership between the two countries in the different areas, the statement added.
