National march Friday in Tunis to denounce US decision to recognise Al Quds as capital of Israel

(TAP) – Representatives of organisations, associations and parties, gathered Thursday at the headquarters of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) in Tunis, decided to organise tomorrow Friday, December 8, 2017 at 3 p.m. a a march from Mohamed Ali Square, to protest the decision of US President Donald Trump to recognise occupied Al Quds as Israeli capital and to transfer the embassy there.

The participants in this meeting announced, in a joint statement, the decision to boycott all activities planned by the US Embassy in Tunisia.

The signatories of the statement expressed their determination to support all forms of resistance to liberate Palestine and create an independent state whose capital is Al Quds.

They called on the Tunisian government to take a firm position, reject this decision and boycott any political coalition supporting the US and Zionist position.

The signatories of the statement also called on the international community to respond to any breach of international clauses and to recognise Al Quds as the capital of Palestine.
