Municipal by-election in Sers: voter turnout hits 20.55%

(TAP) – Voter turnout in the municipal by-election in Sers, Kef governorate reached 20.55%, i.e. 1,920 out of a total of 9,342 registered voters.

1292 male voters and 628 women voted in the by-elections, president of the Regional Authority for Elections of Kef (IRIE) Hatem Dali said in a statement to TAP.

The final results of these elections would be published on Sunday night after the completion of the ballot counting operations at IRIE headquarters, he added.

4 lists vie for the 18 seats of Sers Municipal Council, after the dissolution of the elected council, following the resignation of most of the members in early May 2019.
