Gafsa: Mdhilla police station reopens
19/11/2019 18:46, TUNIS/Tunisia

(TAP) - The regional and security authorities, on Monday, reopened the Mdhilla police station.

The station has been closed for more than two years after it was torched by local protesters in March 2017.

Mohamed Saadaoui, Head of the Gafsa National Security District, said the police station had resumed its activities after completion of the redevelopment and equipment works to which several official and local societal parties had contributed.

He told TAP police patrols will be mobilised daily between Mdhilla and Gafsa as part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to bolster security and fight crime.
