"Tunisia Business Export " Forum December 12-13 in Sfax

(TAP) - The second “Tunisia Business Export” Forum will be held on December 12-13 in Sfax. It will be attended by more than 60 foreign importers and group purchasing organisations from 13 countries.

The goal of the forum is to help boost Tunisian food products on international markets. It is held by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax (French: CCIS), with the support of Germany’s International Cooperation (GIZ) and US programmes TAYP and JOBS.

According to the CCIS, the 2019 edition will focus on the agri-food sector, which represents one of the strategic sectors in the Tunisian economy. During the forum, a panel will be held under the theme of “Agri-food on the International Market: New Positioning”, three workshops on opportunities of promising global markets, an exhibition of Tunisian products of participating companies as well as “BtoB” partnership meetings with international purchasing organisations.

The “Tunisia Business Export” forum will be attended by several countries namely, France, Spain, the USA, Canada, Portugal, Thailand, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Niger, Pakistan, Russia, Jordan and Burkina Faso, reads a statement of the CCIS.
