Tozeur-COVID-19: two hotels to be reserved for mandatory self-isolation

(TAP) - Two hotels in the region of Tozeur will be reserved for mandatory self-isolation and for medics and paramedics, as part of supporting state's efforts in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, Governor Mohamed Aymen Bejaoui told TAP on Monday.

The local authorities and health services are closely monitoring the situation of people subject to mandatory self-0isolation, including 6 people infected by the virus.

The various parties concerned are working to provide all the necessary needs for this purpose, including food.

Concerning the respect of general lockdown and curfew, the governor of the region underlines that security units, on Sunday, arrested a person who breached the curfew.

Nearly 4 cars were seized, and 71 driving licences and vehicle registration cards were withdrawn, he added.
