Sousse-COVID19: new imported case of infection

(TAP) - A new imported case of infection with COVID-19 has been recorded in the governorate of Sousse among 9 cases announced Friday by the Health Ministry.

In a statement to TAP, local health director in Sousse Mohamed Mizouni said he is a man from Hammam Sousse who returned from Canada on July 2, 2020.

The patient was transferred to the mandatory quarantine centre in Monastir, added the same source, pointing out that samples for testing were taken from people who were in contact with this patient in order to check their health.
