Coronavirus: 25 people test positive in Kebili

(TAP) – Kebili governorate, on Wednesday, reported 25 more infections with the coronavirus, after the release of results of tests carried out from October 11 to 14.

These tests were carried out in private laboratories in Gabes and Gafsa and in the microbiological testing laboratory of the military hospital in Tunis, said head of health programmes at the local health directorate of Kebili Ali Haddad.

The total number of infections has risen to 355 cases in the region since the outbreak, including 244 cases detected since the reopening of borders on June 27, he told TAP.

The number of active cases stands at 47, currently subjected to mandatory isolation.

The region saw four deaths in total and 194 cases of recovery.
