COVID-19/ Sousse: Curfew extended for additional 10 days

(TAP) - Governor of Sousse, Raja Trabelsi decided, Sunday, to extend the curfew in all delegations of the governorate for 10 additional days, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., from tomorrow, Monday, October 26, 2020 until Wednesday, November 4, 2020, to fight against the spread of coronavirus.

This decision was taken, according to a communiqué issued by the Governorate of Sousse, in coordination with the central authorities, and in accordance with the recommendations of the regional committee for disaster reduction during the meeting held on October 23, 2020.

The Governor of Sousse had decided to ban the movement of people and vehicles in all delegations of the governorate from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for a period of 15 days, starting Thursday October 1, 2020, before extending the curfew for a period of 10 days.

Vital and sensitive sectors and exceptional cases, such as the health sector, postal services, wholesale markets, farmers and farmworkers, economic enterprises, public and private institutions in vital sectors and media and press institutions, are not concerned by the curfew.
