(TAP)- A one-week curfew has been decreed in the governorate of Kasserine and will come into force, from Monday, November 2, until November 8, 2020, announced the local disaster control and relief organisation committee in Kasserine.

This curfew will be from 20:00 to 05:00 from Monday to Friday and from 19:00 to 05:00 and Saturday and Sunday, with the exception of people who have a health emergency or those working at night.

An inter-city travel ban has also been decided, besides the closure of Cafes and restaurants from 4 pm, while respecting the capacity set at 30% in closed spaces and 50% in open air spaces.

The decision to close Hammams and weekly markets was extended. The committee also decided to suspend prayer in mosques until November 15 and to prohibit all gatherings above 4 people in all public places except for means of transportation.

These decisions will come into force from October 30 until November 15, 2020, added the same source.

The committee said these measures are aimed at stemming the spread of the virus, calling on citizens to respect all measures.
