COVID-19: 101 more infection cases reported in Monastir

(TAP) - Monastir governorate reported 101 more COVId-19 infection cases, bringing the tally to 3,671 confirmed cases in the region since last March, Regional Health Director Hammouda Baba said.

These infection cases were recorded in Moknine (46), Bembla (11), Sehline (10), Téboulba (10), Ksar Hlel (5), Sayada Lamta Bouhjar (5), Jammel (5), Monastir (3), Zramdine (2), Bekalta (2) and Ksibet Mediouni (2).

However, no fatalities caused by the virus have been reported in the region for the 2nd consecutive day, the death toll still stands at 78.

The current number of virus-carriers has reached 1,104, against 103 recoveries, bringing the overall number of recoveries in the region to 2,489.
