Nabeul-COVID-19: 3 deaths and 156 more infections

(TAP) - Three COVID-19 patients died in the governorate of Nabeul bringing to 76 the total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the region, director of Preventive Health in Nabeul, Omar Sellimi, told TAP on Friday.

The first deceased is a 70-year-old from Dar Chaabane El Fehri who died in a clinic, the second is a 70-year-old woman who died in the Mohamed Maâmouri University Hospital in Nabeul and the third is an 80-year-old man who died in the local hospital of Grombalia where he had been staying for two days.

Besides, the official said that the region has recorded 156 more infections bringing the total number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic to 3,512 cases, including 1,387 still carry the virus.

The additional cases were recorded as follows: 24 cases in Nabeul, 20 in Grombalia, 20 in Hammamet, 16 in each of Beni Khiar and Dar Chaabane El Fehri, 12 in El Haouaria, 11 cases in each of Menzel Temime and Beni Khalled, 10 cases in Menzel Bouzelfa, 5 cases in Soliman, 4 cases in Bou Argoub, 2 cases in Tekelsa, one case in each of the delegations of Korba, Hammam Ghezèze and El Mida.
