(TAP)- Four more people died of COVID-19 in Gabes governorate during the last 24 hours, pushing the death toll to 204, says the latest report by the local health directorate in Gafsa.

Another 96 people tested positive for the coronavirus after returning the results of 334 tests.

The new positive cases were detected as follows: 29 in South Gabes, 16 in Mareth, 15 cases in Gabes City, 13 in Oudhref, 10 cases in Metouia, 6 in West Gabes, 6 cases in New Matmata and one case in El Hamma.

The total number of infection cases in the region has reached 7216, of whom 855 are still active.
