(TAP)-Sfax will play host to the 13th Mediterranean Exhibition of Agriculture and Food Industry on May 18-22, with the participation of over 90 exhibitors from Africa, Europe and Asia.

President of the Association of the International Fair of Sfax Abdellatif Zayani stated to TAP, that the foreign participation in this session will be important, especially since the exhibition coincides with the elaboration of the national plan for the promotion of seeds, in order to ensure food security.

The event will offer economic operators the opportunity to showcase their products in the field of agricultural equipment, fertilisers, seeds and seedlings as well as the latest agricultural processes.

It will also provide a good opportunity to share experiences and explore investment opportunities.

The major novelty of the exhibition will be the dedication of a 1000 m2 entertainment area for the organisation of tasting sessions of agricultural products and display of the most prominent animal species, the organisers specified.
