(TAP)- The grain harvest in the governorate of Jendouba for this season is estimated at 1.9 million quintals against 1.8 million quintals in the previous season, Head of the Local Authority for Agricultural Development Abdeljalil Afli stated to TAP.

The National Institute of Field Crops (INGC) located in Bou Salem (Governorate of Jendouba) continues its research to improve grain production in test fields with a production that had exceeded 100 quintals/hectare in Kairouan, 90 quintals/hectare in Medjez el Bab and 68 quintals/hectare in Boussalem for the 2020-2021 agricultural seasons.
