(TAP) – A terrorist cell made up of three members, including a woman, aged between 25 and 28 was dismantled on Sunday in Zahoua neighbourhood (North Jendouba delegation) by Jendouba’s National Guard’s investigation and search unit.

They admitted being in contact on the social network “Telegram” with terrorists hiding in the heights of Jendouba and El Kef, an Interiour Ministry press release reads.

They also admitted having ties with members of the terrorist organisation “Daesh” in Syria and Libya.

Pictures glorifying the terrorist attacks against Tunisian security and military forces were found in their mobile phones, the press release adds.

The woman confirmed she was in charge of the recruitment. The Public Prosecution ordered the suspects to be placed into custody and to open an investigation.
