Terrorist cell broken up in Hergla

(TAP) - A thirteen-member terrorist cell operating in Hergla, Sousse governorate, was broken up Tuesday.

According to an Interior Ministry press release, Wednesday, the cell members, aged between 22 and 43 years, admitted "holding secret meetings in one of the mosques of the town and having ties with an individual from the region classified as dangerous and belongs to the terrorist katibat Okba Ibn Nafaa."

They also confessed to having facilitated the travel of twelve youths from Hergla to the hot beds of tension, adds the same source.

The public prosecutor ordered to place the cell members in custody and initiate a judicial investigation against them.
