(TAP) – A landmine exploded on Thursday afternoon at Mount Mghilla, near Jelma (Sidi Bouzid Governorate), slightly injuring two soldiers, a security source told TAP.

Military units were conducting sweep operations on Mount Mghilla, the source added.

The two wounded soldiers were taken to the regional hospital in Kasserine.

The sweeping operations on Mghilla heights have continued since the kidnapping and killing last weekend of Khelifa Soltani, brother of the young shepherd Mabrouk Soltani, beheaded by a terrorist group in November 2015 .
