Kasserine: forest ranger injured in mine explosion at Mount Châambi

(TAP) – A forest ranger was injured on Friday in the explosion of a mine near Mount Châambi at the locality of "Abdeladhim" in the delegation of Foussana (governorate of kasserine).

The twenty-year-old victim had the right leg amputated, said a security source to TAP correspondent in the region.

Originally from the locality of "Bouhayia" (Fernana delegation), the wounded man was admitted to the regional hospital of Kasserine where he underwent surgery to stop a hemorrhage caused by the explosion, a medical source said.
