(TAP)- An application called "Malek" to submit and remotely follow continuing education records has just been launched, national director of the National Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development Zied Rouissi said Friday.

The application, which will come into effect in January 2019, will target 2050 institutions and will help to remedy the delay in dealing with the files, Rouissi said at a press briefing in Tunis.

It will also reduce the cost of file processing, he added.

On the other hand, the Secretary-General of the General Federation of Vocational Training and Employment of the UGTT, Jebran Bouraoui stressed the need to restore the credibility of the sector of in-service training to improve business performance and competitiveness.
