28/10/2019 17:27, TUNIS/Tunisia

(TAP) - The first web TV specialised in student affairs "a7ki free", was launched Monday in Tunis, on the initiative of several students wishing to communicate, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the “Article19” organisation.

This project, with 80 thousand Euros funding, will allow students to produce media material and disseminate it with the help of teachers and trainers, director of the office of the organisation “Article 19” for the MENA region Saloua Ghazouani told TAP.

She reported that the idea for this project and its implementation dates back to September 2018 with the training of 19 volunteer teachers who, themselves, trained 76 students in writing, imaging and editing techniques.

60 audiovisual contents have been produced, including documentaries, awareness spots and TV programmes, she said, stating that this audiovisual production deals with issues of interest to students, such as environment, community action, addiction to drugs and other topics that will be treated in a different way than official media and private television channels.
