(TAP)- Over 2,000 women entrepreneurs benefited so far from the support of the NextWomen Tunisie, a network intended to provide support and promote female entrepreneurship.

The network is marking in May its fourth anniversary. The Tunis branch, launched in 2016, is a point of reference in female entrepreneurship in Tunisia and the Middle East and North Africa region.

It is geared towards contributing to economic development and increasing entrepreneurial networking in several regions across the country, including Bizerte, El Kef, Siliana, Jendouba, Sousse, Sfax, Kairouan and Djerba.

Vocational training sessions, office meetings and networking workshops were held, in collaboration with national and international partners, such as the embassy of the Netherlands, Expertise France, Hivos , Konrad Adeauer Stiftung , UBCI…

The network is seeking to beef up its support for female entrepreneurship in Tunisia against the backdrop of the COVID-19 crisis and identify the needs of its members in training, support and communication through thematic Webinars.

This global network of ambitious women is based in the Netherlands.
