Project "Helma" for better socio-professional integration of future generations to launch next July

(TAP) - The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Vocational Integration will launch next July, the project "Helma" to provide future prospects for socio-professional integration of future generations.

The main lines of the project were discussed at a meeting Tuesday between acting Minister of Youth, Sports and Vocational Integration, Sihem Ayadi and a delegation of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in Tunisia represented by the Head of Mission Azzouz Samri. It will be deployed from July 2021 in the target regions of Mahdia and Sfax, pending its generalisation to other governorates.

The Ministry said in a statement the project provides for activities of socio-educational animation, strengthening soft & technical skills for employability, introduction to new trades, promotion of modern communication and information tools, awareness of issues of diversity and social integration, participation of youth in society and interaction with the ecosystem of the labor market.

According to the same source, the meeting discussed the state of cooperation and ways to further support the Ministry on issues related to capacity building in the field of youth, and more particularly the impact of irregular migration among young people to explore alternative solutions opening new legal avenues for a more secure, orderly and regular migration.
