(TAP)- Prime Minister Najla Bouden, on Friday, met with director of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for the Africa region Patrick Youssef. Bouden commended the fruitful cooperation, particularly in irregular migration between the Tunisian authorities and the ICRC, which works to improve conditions of detention, restore links between dispersed family members and disseminate the culture of international humanitarian law. Patrick Youssef, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the Tunisian authorities for continuously supporting the committee's activities in Tunisia and the assistance provided to facilitate ICRC's mission in Libya, the Prime Ministry said in a statement. He also reviewed the ICRC's various activities in the region and the priorities of its actions in Tunisia in the coming period. |
