China Open (quarter finals): Malek Jaziri eliminated

(TAP) – Tunisian tennis player Malek Jaziri was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the China Beijing (hard-surface tournament), after his defeat on Friday against Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili (world's 31st) by two sets to zero (2-6, 2-6).

Jaziri made a performance on Thursday by knocking out world’s 5th German Alexander Zverev at the second round of the China Open Beijing (hard-surface tournament) 2-1 (7-6, 2-6, 6-4)..

Jaziri, who, on Monday, moved up two spots (to 61st) at the ATP world rankings, had eliminated at the first round Chinese Wu Yibing (world’s 423rd) 2-1 (6-4, 6-3).
