SwimSA 2019 Junior Africa Swimming Championships - Day 1: Tunisia win one silver medal and four bronze

(TAP) - Swimmers from the Tunisian junior swimming team (boys and girls) won one silver and four bronze medals at the first day of the 13th African Junior Swimming Championship, which runs until September 15 in Rades, with the participation of 34 countries.

Mohamed Khalil Ben Njima bagged the silver medal and Hassan Ben Miled, Youssef Belhaj, Oussama Ajour and the boys' relay team in the 15-16 age group (4x200m) won bronze medals.

South African swimmers dominated Day 1, winning 15 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze, ahead of Egypt (4 gold , 9 silver and 5 bronze) and Algeria (2 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze).
