(TAP) - CS Sfaxien took a big step towards qualification for the second preliminary round of the African Champions League (2020/2021) after securing a large win over Zanzibar's Mlandege FC 5-0 at a first-leg game played on Saturday afternoon at Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.

Scorers: Kingsley Eduwo (30') Heni Amamou (41'), Firas Chaouat (55' and 79') and Abdallah Amri (85').

The second-leg game is scheduled for next December 5 in Sfax.

In case of qualification, CS Sfaxien will meet in the second round the winners of the two-leg game between Algeria's MC Algiers and Benin's Buffalo of Borgou FC.

The other Tunisian club involved in the competition, Esperance Sportive de Tunis has been exempted from this round.
