COVID-19: 10 persons test positive on June 27, including one more imported case

(TAP) – Out of all 353 conducted screening tests, including 19 on active cases, 10 persons have tested positive with COVID-19 on June 27, including one new imported case among those repatriated and quarantined and 9 active cases.

In its update published Sunday on the epidemic situation in Tunisia, the Health Ministry indicates that the toll is, thus, established at 1,169 confirmed cases out of a total of 69,137 conducted tests.

The number of recoveries has risen to 1,029.

90 persons are still infected and under health care and the number of deaths caused by the virus stands at 50.

All active cases are placed in specialised quarantine centres, the same source specifies.
