COVID-19: 26 fatalities and 662 infections reported in 24h

(TAP) - 662 COVID-19 infections out of 3,094 conducted screening tests, and 26 fatalities were reported on February 23, the Health Ministry said Wednesday in its daily report on the epidemiological situation in the country.

As such, the number of infections and fatalities in Tunisia has so far reached 230,443 and 7,869, respectively.

The recovery count also rose by 2,127, hitting 192,283.

1,117 patients were hospitalised on Feb.23 in public and private health facilities, 270 in intensive care units and 105 under ventilators.
