Tunis, July 31 (TAP) – President Kais Saied on Thursday evening received Canada's Ambassador to Tunisia Lorraine Diguer, who paid a farewell visit to the Head of State on the end of her mission in the country.

The meeting offered the opportunity to review the relations of friendship and cooperation between Tunisia and Canada in various fields, and to reaffirm the shared willingness to further fostering these relations, according to a Presidency of the Republic press release.

Ambassador Diguer expressed her sincere gratitude and appreciation to President Saied and the Tunisian authorities for the support and warm welcome she has received throughout her tenure in Tunisia, enabled her to discharge her duties under the best possible conditions.
