Tunis, Jan 30 (TAP) - Official Order No. 15, dated January 30, 2026, on the extension of the state of emergency across the entire territory of the Republic from January 31 till December 31, 2026, was published in Issue No. 14 of the Official Gazette of the Tunisian Republic for 2026.

The most recent prior extension was issued on December 29, 2025, declaring a one-month state of emergency.

The state of emergency has been continuously renewed across the entire territory of the Republic since November 24, 2015, following a terrorist attack downtown Tunis against a presidential security bus, resulting in killing 12 presidential guards and injuring 16 others, between guards and civilians.
